Big Bend
Big Bend
For years short track skaters have been bending their blades. They do this to get more "grip" on the ice, expecially in the turns.
The "Big Bend" has an integrated bending system in the tube. Because of this it is possible to easily give the tube the desired bend.

Apart from the revolutionary integrated bending system this new short track tube offers some interesting features:
* The tube is stiffer than other tubes. The tube becomes even stiffer with increased bending.
* No deformation of the tube in the turns, the given bend will stay.
* The runner (Bi-Metal (High Speed Steel) and Stainless Toolsteel) is positioned to the left of center in the tube. Since the tube is asymmetrical, there is much more room for the boot to lean further into the turn.
* The tube can be made for long track competition as well as for short track.
* The Big Bend is very easy to bend, but also very easy to straighten by using the integrated bending system.
* The specifications of the steel runners are:
- Bi-Metal
