1. No rusting from inside (No acids used in production).
2. No cold bridges(foot and heel plates act as insulator).
3. The back of the blade is rounded for safety, thereby avoiding injury when falling.
4. There is no nickel or chrome plating on the runner, and hence no peeling, and less burr during sharpening.
5. Impact resistant high-tech nylon, which can withstand very low temperatures (Zytel S.T.®).
6. Minimal chance of breakage due to lack of spot-welding.
7. Less chance of falling due to special design of the front of the blade; less likely to be caught suddenly and deeply in cracks.
8. Stronger and more elastic, and hence less chance of permanent deformation.
9. No corners or holes where snow and ice fragments can collect.
10. The modern production method means that the shoe/skate position is always 90 degrees.
